This is very simple to do, and a great way to view any office space or room. We used this model to determine furniture placement and wall colors at our new office.

Hey, awesome tutorial on turning floor-plans into 3D model. I do however encountered a problem which I have not been able to fix. That is every time I import a floor-plan in as a texture, the resolution of the image becomes drastically reduced, I’ve tried 14000×14000 pixel images embedded on 4×4 inch square and the result is still the same. It still works somewhat for me but I thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone else encountered the same issue.
