In recent months, Team 3DVIA has received numerous success stories from Google SketchUp users who have made our 3DVIA Mobile product a vital part of their workflow process. 3DVIA Mobile allows users with an iPad and/or iPhone to easily display their work in a stunning and interactive 3D viewer. This engaging viewer presents work as it was meant to be seen, often reducing the need for costly physical prototypes and renderings.
This video demonstrates the simple process of creating a 3DVIA Hosting account, uploading your 3D assets to 3DVIA.com and displaying them on your iPad with 3DVIA Mobile HD.
After you’ve watched the video, download the 3DVIA Mobile App and see your Google SketchUp models come to life today!

Looks great, and might I add FINALLY! I was impressed with how the kitchen model was able to be rotated and manipulated. I had been worried that this application was only good for ‘parts’ rather than a large model like a house, after seeing ‘triangle’? size limits.
I do wish it was a simple system of docking your ipad and directly uploading your files to the ipad. I do not wish to get a 3rd party involved by having to upload to a site and then find my files online. Looks like a simple process, but still. I hope this feature gets changed, then I might be more interested.
I agree with Troy. We’d love to use your product but don’t want to share our proprietary information.
There is a private version of the service where only you have access to the content that you upload. There is also a group version of it as well. Would this help?
I would agree with Troy. In our business we create high-end medical animations and I wouldn’t want those to be available online on a third party server. If I could directly synch my 3D-models on to the iPad app without having to upload it to a third party site, that would be the most ideal situation. That way my 3D-models remain on my iPad and my sales team doesn’t have to worry about data privacy.
Pretty cool to be in that video! I need to start uploading more now!
